Kealakekua, Hawaii. It contains six ragas and was
created in one take in one afternoon. I sat down in
front of the mikes as if doing a live performance and
just started to play. All of the music was improvised,
as is typical in classical Hindustani performance.
Richard Harrison did a wonderful job on the sound
engineering, he really encouraged my creativity. We
added no special effects (except a subtle reverb) or
overdub tracks, all of the sound you hear was created
acoustically with one instrument.
